*IT WAS ESPECIALLY SWEET TO GET THE OSCAR NOMINATION?
It was sweet as soon as [the film] came out and it got great reviews. Of course, when the Oscar nomination came around, it was unexpected. I don't believe in doing anything [to campaign] for awards, and certainly I didn't even imagine anything that would come from that. So it was a pat on the back, which was wicked. And needed.

i think it was then when she was started to be taken seriously about her job so that must have been great.
probably she'll a nomintation this year but i dont like the oscars at all, i mean, lately all actresses that have won have seen their career go down for some reason and i also dont like that the one who really deserves it doesnt win.
i really prefer the golden globes at this point ;)
